Police: B&E, stolen vehicle, public intoxication

Break and enter

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday, officers attended the Algonquian Street area in response to a call of a break and enter.

Sometime overnight, unknown suspects used the door opener from an unlocked car to gain entry into the garage removing tools and meat.

Value is $1,500.

Stolen vehicle

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime over the past two days, unknown suspects stole a 2011 Chevy Silverado, silver in colour from the Tilbury area.

Last seen with Ontario license plates, 6444FT.

Public intoxication

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night, officers attended a campground near Mitchell’s Bay in response to a call of a disturbance.

A 26-year-old Wallacetown man was arrested and charged with public intoxication, transported to Chatham- Kent Police Service and lodged until sober as he was unable to care for himself.
