Agnes Peck

Family ties are precious things, woven through the years….of memories of togetherness, laughter, love and tears.

Peacefully in her home, surrounded by her family and love of her life Gary, Agnes (Aggie) Peck, 85, of Wallaceburg passed away Sunday, June 4, 2023.

Agnes and Gary were married for 66 years, they loved nature, camping and spending time with family.

They camped for years always bringing their faithful companions Mooch and then Candy and Taffy, spending Thanksgiving at the Pinery Park with family and yearly trips to watch the leaves turn in fall at Algonquin Park, stopping and seeing friends along the way.

Agnes was born in 1937 and spent the majority of her career working at the Libbey Glass Factory in Wallaceburg.

She was a loving mother to Cindy Roher (the late Ken), Allan (Janet) Peck and Paul Peck.

Grandmother of 6; Jason (Nadine) Neve, Sara (Ryan) Hazell, Colleen (Park) Reilly, Nova Peck and Jeffrey Peck and great grandmother to Brody, Kamryn, Brady and Sydney. She was a devoted sister to the late Jeanette Linton (Johnny), Irene Cogghe (Bill Pearson) and sister -in-law to Keith Peck (Jane) and their families.

Agnes’ family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the nursing and personal support worker staff from VON, Bayshore, Carepartners and Dr. Crombeen and the Palliative Care physician team for their support, care and expertise to help keep Aggie at home to spend her last days with family.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg. 519.627.3231.
