Frederick Alexander “Fred” Ermatinger, a member of Walpole Island First Nation, passed away in Wallaceburg on Friday, July 7, 2023 at the age of 43.
Fred is the son of the late Anthony & Theresa (Cadreau) Ermatinger.
He will be missed by his children Frederick Jr., Kayden, Mitchell, Leia, Isabella, Yanna, Cassidy, Emmitt and Chevner and the mother of his children Cheyanna Shipman.
Dear brother of Tig-Joe, Victor, Anthony, Kayla (Leon), Kerry, Claudia, Blake, Deanna and the late Nicodemus and Lynetta.
Fred had worked at Seal-On Paving in Chatham and he loved to hunt and fish.
Family and Friends are invited for visitation at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg on Monday from 2-4 for family and 6-8 PM for the community.
The Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Our Lady Help of Christians Church on Tuesday, July 11 at 11 AM.
Interment to follow at Highbanks Cemetery.
