Woman arrested on outstanding warrant
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 9:53 a.m., the woman attended Chatham-Kent Police headquarters in Chatham and turned herself in to the police.
The woman was wanted on a warrant for failing to attend court. She was originally charged with theft and failing to comply with a release order.
The 30-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and held pending a bail hearing.
Man and woman arrested for breaching a release order
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 4:46 p.m., police responded to Lorne Avenue in Chatham for a dispute over a cell phone.
Police arrived at the residence and located the man and the woman.
Officers confirmed the woman was on conditions not to communicate with the man and not to be at that address.
The 43-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and charged with two counts of failing to comply with a release order.
She was transported to police headquarters and released with conditions and a future court date of July 18, 2023.
The 51-year-old Cedar Springs man was arrested and charged with facilitating a breach of a release order.
He was transported to police headquarter and released with conditions and a future court date of August 14, 2023.
Man arrested for mischief
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 10:07 p.m., police responded to a multi-unit residential building on King Street East in Chatham for a disturbance.
Information was received people were causing a disturbance which resulted in one person spraying the other with a fire extinguisher.
Through investigation, police located the individuals and arrested the man.
Officers confirmed the man was also wanted for failing to comply with a release order in a separate investigation.
The 20-year-old Chatham man was charged with mischief and failing to comply with a release order.
He was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.
