Damage is estimated at $100,000, after a fire at 200 Westcourt in Wallaceburg.
“Pumper 3-11, a crew from Station #3 – Wallaceburg and Ladder 2-14 from Station #2 – Chatham attended 200 Westcourt Unit #11 for a fire in the living room,” fire officials said in a media release.
“Crews extinguished the fire quickly keeping the fire contained to the unit. The unit sustained heavy smoke and heat damage throughout.”
Fire officials say there were no injuries reported and the cause has been ruled accidental.

The call for the blaze came in at 11:50 p.m. on Tuesday, July 25, 2023.
