Lambton OPP officials say the Chippewas of Kettle and Stony Point First Nation will install two new billboards on the third anniversary of a homicide investigation on the First Nation Territory.
Investigators believe the billboards will generate additional tips to assist the ongoing investigation into the death of 29-year-old David Jordan Oliver of Kettle and Stony Point First Nation.
The victim was found deceased near 9356 Army Camp Road in Lambton Shores on Sunday, August 2, 2020.
The billboards will be erected at the Anishinabek Police Service (APS) detachment on Kettle Point First Nation and at the corner of Lakeshore Road and Highway 21.
A sample of the billboard is pictured above.
The OPP’s Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) and the APS have conducted an extensive investigation and have followed up on a number of tips from the public.
To date, the person, or persons responsible for the murder have not been arrested.
The Government of the Province of Ontario continues to offer a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the murder of David Oliver.
