On Friday, November 17, 2023, Elsie McIntyre passed away peacefully at the age of 97.
Elsie has now been reunited with her beloved husband James McIntyre (2002).
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Kathy (Bob) Arnold and Sandy (Dave) Gibbons as well as her grandchildren Rob (Ashley), Stacy, Ben (Brittany), Nick (Melissa) and her great grandchildren Hunter, Harper, Pearl, Archer, Declan and Stella.
Elsie was the last remaining child of the late Honore and Rosalia Cornelis and will now join her sisters Margaret Henderson, Anne Calvird, Mary Fish and Dorothy Rymal.
Fondly missed by her many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Family and Friends are invited for visitation at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231), on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8pm.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 in the funeral home at 11am followed by burial at Riverview Cemetery.
