Dad left us peacefully at Trillium Villa Nursing Home, Sarnia of complications from dementia.
Survived by daughter Keeley (Brett) McMullin of Sarnia, daughter in law Lori Murphy, grandsons Dylan Murphy, Trevor Murphy, sister in law Elda Murphy, nephews Michael Murphy, Paul Murphy and families.
Predeceased by his parents Henry and Thelma Murphy, in laws Bob and Verna Bending, brother Melvin, son Brad and wife Kay.
Ken will also be missed by many extended family members, curling pals, golf buddies and dear lifelong friends.
A special thank you to Krystina Kokhna, past live-in caregiver to Mom and Dad and loving, family friend.
Also to the staff of Trillium Villa for their compassionate care of Dad for the past 11 months.
At Dad’s request, there will be no visitation or service.
Cremation has taken place.
In keeping with Ken’s love for his hometown/Wallaceburg, donations if desired in his memory to the Sydenham Community Curling Club (Little Rocks Program) or the Wallaceburg Community Centre & Senior Citizens Club would be appreciated and may be left at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231).
