On, Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at the age of 94, Anna Marie Sheffer left us peacefully on her journey to be reunited with those that went before her.
She leaves behind her loving children Christine (the late Richard) Roe, Anita (Charles) Thomas, Lorie Ameloot-Sheffer (Peter Vandenberg) and the late Gregory Sheffer.
Cherished and remembered by her grandchildren John, Jillian, Krystle, Myles, Ian, Jonathan, Luke, Hayden and great grandchildren Adam, Owen, Lucas, Madison and Devin.
Anna is the daughter of the late John and Magdalena Bogaert and dear sister of Mary (late John) Rothery and the late Bertha (Louis) Floin.
Her family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Fairfield Park and to Dr. Perkins for the comforting care given to Anna.
Family and Friends are invited for visitation at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231), on Monday, January 8, 2024 from 12pm until the time of her funeral service at 1:30pm.
She will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery following the service.
In lieu of sending flowers, Anna’s family would like to request that you bring a New Stuffed Animal to the service that will then be donated to the LHSC- Childrens Hospital in her memory.
She also loved animals so please consider the Pet And Wildlife Rescue or the CK Animal Rescue.
