Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At approximately 12:06 a.m. on Monday, Chatham-Kent Police attended an address in the area of Oak Road in Tilbury, as suspicious activity was reported.
A suspicious vehicle and individuals with flashlights were observed.
Upon police arrival, they located a UHaul loaded with property; but the suspects had fled.Â
The drone was deployed, and police were able to locate the three suspects hiding near a retaining pond.Â
A 26-year-old woman from Blenheim, a 58-year-old Tilbury man and a 33-year-old Tilbury man were all arrested for Trespass by Night.
They were additionally charged with Theft and Possession Under $5,000.
All three parties were transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters, where they were processed and released with a future court date.
