The Knight of Pythias will hold their annual Easter Egg Hunt in Wallaceburg on Saturday, March 30, 2024.
The event will start at 11 a.m. at Kinsmen Park, located at 208 Argyle Avenue.
Organizers say participants are being asked to bring their own baskets for collecting eggs.
There will be four age groups at the event: two and under, three to five, six to eight and nine to 11.
“The Knights require enough small candy (bubble gum, small candy Easter eggs etc.) to fill 4,000 eggs,” said Doug McCallum, the chair of the event.
“We also need prizes for each age group to be placed in a few eggs in each group as special winners. Every child will get a free drink and the opportunity to win a prize in the eggs.”
McCallum said donations are being accepted.
Cheques can be made to “Rokeby Lodge #9 Knights of Pythias Inc.” with a memo at the bottom left for “Easter Egg Hunt”.
