Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 10 a.m., police responded to Simcoe Lane in Chatham to check on the well-being of a man seen sleeping behind a business.
Officers located the man and learned he was wanted on an outstanding warrant from a November 2023 investigation.
The man was arrested.
The 34-year-old Chatham-Kent man was charged with uttering threats and breach of probation.
He was released with a future court date of March 25, 2024.
