Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 11:24 a.m., police responded to Talbot Street West in Blenheim for an assault investigation.
Investigation revealed the man, and the victim are currently involved in a civil dispute with each other.
Prior to the call to the police, the man forced entry into the victim’s home and assaulted him causing minor physical injury.
The 55-year-old man was located a short time later and arrested.
He was transported to police headquarters and charged with break and enter, and assault.
He was released with conditions and a future court date of April 22, 2024.
