Chatham-Kent Fire and Emergency Services officials say Station #18 – Blenheim responded to a fully engulfed structure fire at 19407 Fargo Road at approximately 1:20 a.m. on Monday, April 1, 2024.
“Stations #14 – Erieau and #16 – Raleigh South attended to assist,” fire officials said in a media release.
“Units on scene: Pumper 18, Rescue 18, Tanker 18, Pumper 14, Pumper 16, Rescue 16 and Tanker 16.”
Clarke’s Construction attended with an excavator and a total of 34 firefighters were on the scene.
The house was unoccupied and there were no injuries reported.
The cause is undetermined, fire officials added.
