Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On April 12, 2024, at 5:06 a.m., emergency crews responded to a motor vehicle collision on Sass Road in Chatham.
Upon arrival, officers learn the man was bound by a release order not to occupy the driver’s seat of a motor vehicle.
He was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where he was held pending a bail hearing.
The 42-year-old Chatham-Kent man currently faces the following charges: failing to comply with release order, driving while disqualified and careless driving.
