Greenhill Gardens in Wilkesport donated to the SCRCA

Greenhill Gardens was donated to the St. Clair Region Conservation Foundation in 2022 by the Robson Family.

The St. Clair Region Conservation Foundation (SCRCF) received a generous donation of property from the Robson family that includes the local attraction known as Greenhill Gardens.

In order to ensure the long-term maintenance of the property, the SCRCF need your support.

One of the measures being undertaken is a new booking system for 2024 that will accommodate the rental of the grounds for special events and functions (e.g., weddings, group photographs) for a fee that will ensure the ongoing maintenance of the property.

It is important to note, the SCRCF asks the public to reach out to Tim Payne (contact information below) for rental inquiries as only those that have booked through the SCRCA will be guaranteed dates and availability at Greenhill Gardens.

Greenhill Gardens, a growing tourist attraction in Lambton County, is located in St. Clair Township, just west of Wilkesport.

The Robson’s began growing this oasis in 2008 and now boasts a 2.4-hectare (6 acre) garden, 7.7-hectare (19 acre) woodlot, and 30-hectare (74 acre) agricultural land.

The SCRCF is thankful to the Robson family for this donation and looks forward to working with our community to continue to offer a place they can find beauty and relaxation.

The St. Clair Region Conservation Foundation accepts land donations that further the objectives of the Authority by preserving important natural features.

Including the 2022 acquisition of Greenhill Gardens, the SCRCF has received 19 land donations, totalling 533 hectares (1,138 acres), valued at $7 million. The Authority thanks individuals and families who have thought of the community and our local ecosystems and donated their lands to be conserved for future generations.
