OPP officials allege: A two vehicle collision on Highway 401 in the eastbound lanes at Colonel Talbot Road leaves one involved occupant deceased.
On April 16, 2024, at 3:08 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Middlesex-London Paramedic Service and London City Fire, were dispatched to the eastbound lanes of Highway 401 at Colonel Talbot Road in the City of London, for the report of a serious collision involving two vehicles.
One individual was pronounced deceased at scene as a result of the collision.
The OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team was on scene to assist with the investigation.
The roadway was closed for the investigation between Colonel Talbot Road and Wonderland Road for the investigation.
