Outstanding warrants executed in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At approximately 11:19 a.m., police responded to a complaint of a male sleeping outside of a business on Keil Drive in Chatham.

During the investigation, the officer confirmed that the male was wanted on an outstanding DNA warrant.

The male was arrested and transported to CKPS headquarters where the DNA warrant was executed.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At approximately 10:10 p.m., police responded to check on the well-being of a female.

The female was located in the area of Cross Street.

At this time, it was discovered that she was wanted on an outstanding warrant for Failure to Attend Court.

The female was subsequently arrested and held for bail.
