This week’s Throwback Thursday is from the Wallaceburg & District Museum.

“Large group of mostly women and a few men, standing on and in front of a decorated wagon with a horse harnessed to the front. Several children in the photo as well. The women wear white dresses and most also wear gathered mob caps. The men wear morning suits and top hats. All are wearing ribbon decorations. An Orange Lodge group, probably from Wallaceburg, 1915. On the reverse is ‘Recreation Park’. Also the following names: Mrs. Martin, TE Pierce, C Fry, C. Benn, Shepley, M Reaume, Bell? Cross, Mrs. Huff, MH Pierce, M. Cassidy, J Simpson, S Reaume, Lynn Sharon, Slocum, Traxler Booker, Mrs. G Knight, M Brown, Mc Adams, Annals Tullock, Sutherland, Hry? Benn, Adelaide Knight, Samie McAdams, H.
