Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At approximately 1:30 a.m. on May 3, 2024, officers attended a local bar in the area of Grand Avenue East in Chatham, after receiving a report of a highly intoxicated male inside.
Upon locating him, officers determined that he was highly intoxicated and unable to take care of himself.
For the protection of the male and the public, he was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place and held in custody until sober and no longer a risk to himself or others.
