Featuring: The Oaks Retirement Village
The Oaks retirement community recently met with the Wallaceburg Chamber of Commerce, featuring members such as Hunter McCallum, Assistant General Manager; Amanda Parkes, Food Service Manager; Cyndi Hansen, Lifestyles Manager; and Brandy Mohr, Leasing Manager, alongside Executive Director Jill Misselbrook. They are gearing up to celebrate their 10th anniversary in November, with exciting plans ahead. A Health and Wellness open house that was on April 20th provide an opportunity for residents to engage with all the managers and have their questions addressed. Additionally, the return of the Walking Club on Wednesdays at 9:00 AM starting in April aims to promote physical activity and community engagement. A fresh menu will debut on April 8th, coinciding with the recent appointment of a new General Manager. With Covid restrictions easing, efforts are underway to revive all activity clubs, fostering a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere within the community.
