Investigation into historical incidents leads to more charges for Chatham man already in custody

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On May 4, 2024, at 2:32 p.m., the man was arrested for failing to stop for police.

This led officers to investigate historical incidents that resulted in further charges.

The 31-year-old Chatham man was held pending a bail hearing and remanded into custody at Southwest Regional Detention Centre.

He has additionally been charged with the following: two counts of failing to comply with an undertaking, two counts of criminal harassment, two counts of mischief over $5000, three counts of uttering threats, five counts of mischief under $5000.
