This first, Pixie and the Bees, is a story about her experience living with an anxiety disorder and in it, Pixie swallows a swarm of angry bees that nobody else can see or hear or feel.

As part of her book tour, Erica Richmond will be in the Chatham-Kent community from May 24 to May 27, embarking on a series of engagements aimed at inspiring and empowering audiences of all backgrounds.
Her itinerary includes:
May 24: Speaking engagement at her previous high school (class of ’95) Lambton Kent District School Board, engaging with grade nine English students to discuss the themes of her books and the power of storytelling.
May 25: Book reading and presentation at the Dresden Library, a return to her childhood haunt where her mother, Carol Richmond, served as the librarian.
This event promises to be a heartfelt reunion with the community that shaped her.
May 26: Workshop at The Co. in Chatham, as part of their esteemed Matriarch Workshop series.
Richmond will lead participants in a transformative session focused on embracing their narratives and recognizing that they, and their stories, deserve to shine.
May 27: Speaking engagement with students in the SWAC (School Within a College) program, offering insights into the writing process and the therapeutic potential of writing as a tool for healing and self-care.
