The Wallaceburg BIA is partnering with Community Living Wallaceburg and the Municipality of Chatham-Kent for a downtown clean up event on Thursday, May 23, 2024.
“Come to Civic Park at 10 a.m. to get your supplies, and then enjoy a free barbecue at noon,” organizers say.
“Participants are asked to pick up litter and other debris throughout or downtown area and put the litter in garbage bags supplied by the Municipality of Chatham-Kent. Everyone is welcome. Any participant under the age of 18 must have adult supervision to participate in the project.”
Organizers added: “Gloves and garbage bags will be supplied to the participants.”
The free barbecue will be held at 1100 Dufferin Avenue, the Community Living Wallaceburg main office.
