Mr. Joseph Myers Jr. Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at the CKHA “Sydenham Campus” in Wallaceburg at the age of 73.
He was born in Wallaceburg, and was a son of the late Joseph Sr. and Gertrude Myers.
Beloved husband of Joyce (Teeter) Myers.
Loving father of Jennifer Myers.
Dear brother of Louise Benn and Mae Wellman and brother-in-law of Elaine Lewis, Mary Pat Elliott, Jayne Burritt and Helen Teeter.
He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews family and friends.
Joe or “Uncle Joe” to most was a very caring and generous man. He was very devoted to the Lend-A-Hand Breakfast program and would be found almost every high school morning offering breakfast talking and making everyone welcome. He was a member of the Knox Presbyterian Church and was always involved around the church when he could.
Following his wishes, cremation will take place and a memorial service will be announced and held at a later date.
