On Tuesday, June 18, 2024 Leo Norman Joseph Authier went to be in the loving arms of his Lord and Savior at the age of 92. He has now been reunited with his beloved wife Marguerite (nee White).
Dear father of Rick (Roberta) Authier, Luanne (Garnet) Lilley, Betty-Anne Authier, Steve Authier (Andrea), Raymond (Jeanette) Authier and step – father of Gord (Patti) McDonald, Joanne McDonald, Terry (Pam) McDonald, Shelly (Merle) Hazzard, Debbie McIntyre (Ken), Ron McDonald (Uliana), Maggie (Lance) Gale and the late Bonnie McDonald, Valerie Boyd and Sandy (Gerard) Lubbers. Cherished grandfather to his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Leo is predeceased by his parents Alcide and Emma Authier and will be remembered as the eldest brother of their 11 children. Family and Friends are invited for visitation at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231), on Sunday, June 23, 2024 from 5-8pm.
His funeral will take place at the funeral home on Monday, June 24, 2024 at 11am followed by burial at Riverview Cemetery.
