Michael Frak

Michael Walter Frak passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Chatham Kent Health Alliance at 65 years of age. “Mike” will be sadly missed by the special people in his life: his mother Hendrieka Frak, his daughter Amber Frak and her mother Michelle Frak, his mother-in-law Helen Regnier, and his partner Michelle Lozon and son Julian Lozon.

Mike is predeceased by his father Louis Frak and father-in-law Robert Regnier. He will also be missed by Lucy the dog and Autumn the cat. Mike touched the lives of many people and had so many good friends in his life that we can’t even begin to list them all, but we hope you all know and understand how much you meant to him.

Mike grew up at Bradley Farms and worked there for most of his life farming and as a hunting guide. He also worked at Mitchell’s Bay Charters as a fishing guide in the summer where he was known as “Captain Mike”.

He absolutely loved this job and spending time on the charter boat. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, trapper and birdwatcher, an all around outdoorsman and nature lover. Mike lived his life to the fullest and always knew how to have a good time and a good laugh. Just being with Mike was an adventure, he was a wealth of knowledge and always had a story to tell.

Mike’s family would like to thank the staff at Chatham Kent Health Alliance for their outstanding care and support.

Donations to the charity of your choice in Mike’s memory are appreciated.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life for Mike will take place at the Dover Rod & Gun Club (5806 Heron Line, Grande Pointe) on Sunday, June 30, 2024 from 1:00-4:00pm. Bring your stories, photos, laughter or tears while we celebrate and remember Mike Frak.
