CK Public Health seeking new volunteer board members

CK Public Health has announced it is seeking new Board of Health volunteer citizen appointees to contribute to the organization’s strategic direction and growth.

CK Public Health officials say this recruitment is for a four year term starting January 1, 2025, and is a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about public health to make a meaningful impact on the well-being of the community of Chatham-Kent.

“Being a member of the Board of Health offers a rewarding experience where volunteers can contribute their expertise, have the opportunity to collaborate with like-minded individuals, engage in strategic decision-making, and drive positive change in the community,” CK Public Health officials say.

“The application process is simple and accessible to all interested candidates. Candidates must be over the age of 18 and either own or be a tenant of property in Chatham-Kent.”

The application form is available online at www.ckpublichealth.com/board-of-health or can be obtained at a Municipal Service Centre.

Completed applications must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. on August 8, 2024, to be considered for this important role.
