Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On June 29th, 2024., police began a bail violation investigation in Wallaceburg.
The man had been released by the court with conditions prohibiting him from attending an address due to domestic violence related charges.
Police learned that the man had attended the prohibited address and breached his conditions.
The 38-year-old Wallaceburg man was later located and arrested on July 10, 2024 on the strength of an outstanding warrant for failing to comply with release order and unlawfully being in a dwelling.
He was transported to police headquarters where he was held pending a bail hearing.
As a result of the bail hearing, he was remanded into custody and transported to Southwest Regional Detention Center.
His next court appearance is scheduled for July 15th, 2024.
