Driver charged on the 401 in Chatham-Kent for having a video display screen visible

OPP officials allege: On July 7, 2024, at approximately 11:59 p.m., an officer with the Chatham Detachment stopped a passenger vehicle on the eastbound Highway 401 near the 101-Kilometer marker, Municipality of Chatham-Kent, for having a video display screen visible to the driver.

As a result of the investigation, a 35-year-old from LaSalle was charged with:

– Drive – Display screen visible to driver

– Driving while under suspension (Two Counts)
