Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On April 10, 2024, the woman was released by the court on a Release Order with specific conditions, which included to reside at a specific address in Ridgetown while also wearing a GPS monitoring device.
At 2:20 a.m. on July 15, 2024, police were advised an alert was received from the GPS monitoring device indicating the woman had left the address she was to reside at.
This prompted officers to investigate.
At 2:54 a.m. police located the woman at a different address in Ridgetown.
The 40-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and transported back to the address she was to reside at with supervision; released with a future court date of July 29th, 2024, for failing to comply with her conditions.
