Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Monday, July 15th, 2024, at approximately 09:37 a.m., a 34-year-old Chatham man was arrested on the strength of a Chatham-Kent Police warrant in connection to an intimate partner violence investigation. The 34-year-old Chatham man was held in police custody pending a bail hearing. As a result of the bail hearing, he was remanded into custody and transported to Southwest Regional Detention Center. His next court appearance is scheduled for August 6th, 2024.

The 21-year-old Chatham woman was held in police custody and later released with conditions and a future court date of August 19th, 2024.

Upon checking on the wellbeing of the caller, a 19-year-old Chatham man was arrested on the strength of a Chatham-Kent Police warrant in connection to an intimate partner violence investigation, as well as a DNA warrant. The 19-year-old Chatham man was held in police custody and later released with conditions and a future court date of August 19th, 2024.

The 39-year-old Chatham woman was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters and later released with conditions and a future court date of August 12th, 2024.
