The Municipality of Chatham-Kent is pleased to announce Blenheim Memorial Arena, Chatham’s Thames Campus Arena and Dresden’s Ken Houston Memorial Agricultural Centre are now open for preseason ice bookings.
“Preseason is an important time for our minor associations and junior clubs as they’re busy with selection camps and other preparations for the upcoming season,” said Ian Clark, Manager of Parks, Recreation & Cemeteries, in a press release.
“Opening the arenas for those groups also creates an opportunity for residents looking to book ice for recreational purposes.”
Adult and Membership Skating, Tiny Tot Skating, and Stick & Puck Skills sessions are also available to the public at Thames Campus Arena.
Programming schedules, rates, and ice booking information can be found at www.chatham-kent.ca/arenas or by calling 311.
All 10 municipal arenas will be open for the 2024/2025 regular season by the third week of September.
The full schedule of public programming, including public skates, will begin October 1, Municipal officials added.
