Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On August 14th, 2024, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service will be conducting training exercises in the areas of Paxton Drive, Chatham and the Dillon Road, Raleigh Township.
“We assure the public that there is no risk involved and the training will not interfere with any public access or functions,” police officials say.
“It’s a missing person scenario. Officers will be doing an information gathering exercise on Paxton Drive and a ground search on Dillion Rd. Other than a heavy police presence, this should not impact the community.”
