Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 8:16 a.m., police responded to Bond Street in Tilbury to a disturbance.
Upon arrival, officers learned the woman engaged in a verbal argument with the man, which escalated when she assaulted him.
The 23-year-old Tilbury woman was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where she was released with conditions and a future court date of September 16, 2024.
She has been charged with one count of assault.
