Walpole Island First Nation will hold their election on Saturday, September 21, 2024.
“Notice is hereby given to the electors of the Walpole Island First Nation (Bkejwanong Territory) that a poll will be held to elect one chief and 12 Councillors,” Walpole Island officials say.
The election will be held from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Governance Building, located at 117 Tahgahoning Road.
“The votes will be counted immediately after the close of the poll,” Walpole officials say.
“The results will be declared immediately following the count.”
