Winston Kingsley Noah Adam Sands, a member of Walpole Island First Nation left us suddenly to begin his journey on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at the age of 47.
He will be forever loved by his parents Mavis Kiyoshk and the late Lionel Sands Sr. Loving Dad to Devin Sands (Keisha), Wesley Sands, Shayne Sahguj and to his beloved dog Nadjiwan. Remembered lovingly by the mothers of his children; Shonna and Shayna.
Cherished Papa of Kyler and Sadie Sands. Loving brother of Lionel Jr, Lyon (Naomi) and Bobi-Jo.
He will be always remembered by his nieces and nephews Codie, Kyle, Jenna, Sierra, Keegan, Zander, Connor, Autumn and Jonas as well as his many great nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles, extended family and friends.
Winston was a lifelong die-hard Toronto Maple Leaf fan and enjoyed playing ground hockey with his Sunday Hockey Group on Walpole Island. Community visitation will take place at the Walpole Island Sports Complex on Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 1-5pm and 6-8pm.
