Officers learned the woman threw a bottle at the man and the man grabbed the woman causing her minor physical injury.
Both individuals were arrested and released with conditions and a future court date of October 7, 2024.
The 38-year-old Chatham man was charged with assault.
The 31-year-old Chatham woman was charged with assault with a weapon.
