Well, it didn’t take long for the rumours to start. Had nice chat a few minutes ago on the phone. Was told that another business is saying we are closing down the store.
We are 100% not closing the storefront.
Rather, we are rebranding the store and limiting the amount of tackle we are going to carry to streamline and focus our efforts on Angler’s Choice.
Our plans going into the new year is to have our complete line of soft plastics on display and available for purchase. We will also be carrying Tactical Fishing Gear products (baits, jigs & rods, they are a local brand from Belle River), Bondy Bait Co products (local manufacturer from Windsor), Mega Jigs (jig manufacturer from Toronto), CL Fishing (spinner baits and jigs from Strathroy), Rolly’s Rigs Stinger Hooks (Camlachie), we will be working on revamping our walleye jig lineup this winter as well with jigs from a few manufacturers from Southern Ontario. What good would rods be if we didn’t have any reels, so we will be maintaining a limited selection of reels (we’ll be able to special order in some cases), as well we will also have a limited selection of terminal tackle that fit in with the Angler’s Choice line of products as well.
Again, we are not closing the storefront. We are focusing our efforts on Angler’s Choice and the manufacturing side of the business while maintaining our retail space.
