The Municipality of Chatham-Kent is now accepting applications for the TogetherCK Grant, a grant focused on providing local groups with funding for community events and projects in 2025.
“In keeping with its commitment to encourage community development through partnerships with local groups, Council allocates funds each year through a competitive process,” Municipal officials say.
“Groups are invited to apply for funding of up to 50% of a project’s costs up to a maximum of $10,000, and an event’s cost to a maximum of $5,000. Significant events (those with attendance over 25,000) can qualify for up to 50% of expenses for the first $10,000 of the budget and 25% percentage of the balance of the budget, to a maximum of $25,000.”
The deadline for applications for this round of funding is Friday, November 1, 2024, at 4:30 pm.

All applications will be reviewed by a committee composed of citizens and representatives from various municipal departments.
