A free art event, “Community Creative Expression,” will take place on Saturday, November 9, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the North Baptist Church Dresden, 182 Trerice Street West.
This event is hosted in partnership with the Salvation Army Toy Drive as part of the “Fill the Sleigh CK” campaign. The initiative invites community members of all ages to attend and contribute to the cause by bringing a new, unwrapped toy.
Organizers hope to encourage creativity and giving through this community gathering. “Why wait until Christmas? We need your help now!” the campaign states, calling on attendees to support children in need during the holiday season.
Everyone is welcome to join the event and help spread holiday cheer by donating toys for the Salvation Army’s mission.
