Mr. Robert “Bob” Matlovich, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at the C.K.H.A – Chatham Site, at the age of 65.
Bob was born in Wallaceburg, Ontario and was a son of the late John and Helen (Svehla) Matlovich.
Kind brother and brother-in-law of Charlotte (Michael), Marian (Paul), Cynthia (the late Larry), John (Lisa), Gerald, William, Karen, the late James (Katherine).
Also survived by aunts Angela Svehla, Shirley Piacek, Mary Gagnier and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and treasured friends Michael and Sue Denys.
Bob very much loved his time on the family farm. He spent the last 5 years at Fairfield Park where he enjoyed playing cards, bingo, painting and playing sport games on his Wii. Family visits were very important to him.
In honour of his wishes, cremation has taken place.
Family and friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Thursday, November 7th, 2024 from 2:00-5:00 p.m..
A Funeral mass will be celebrated from Holy Family Church, Wallaceburg on Friday, November 8th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Diabetes Association may be left at the funeral home.
