Some health care services offered at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance’s Chatham and Wallaceburg sites will be altered on Monday, November 11, 2024, in recognition of Remembrance Day.
During the statutory holidays, some outpatient diagnostic tests will take place. Patients with scheduled diagnostic tests are advised to attend their appointments. These departments will also be staffed to meet the needs of inpatients and emergencies, hospital officials say.
Ambulatory Care Services, Outpatient Rehabilitation Services, Pre-Surgical Screening Services, Diabetes Education Centre, the TIA and CAD Clinics, Pulmonary Function Lab, Outpatient Lab Services, Health Records and Patient Appointment Offices will be closed Monday, November 11, 2024.
The Chatham-Kent Mental Health and Addictions Program Outpatient Department will be closed on Monday, November 11, 2024. The Rapid Access to Addiction Medicine clinic will be closed on Monday, November 11, 2024. Elston Pharmacy, located at the Chatham Site, will be closed on Monday, November 11, 2024.
The Oncology/Chemotherapy Department will be closed on Monday, November 11, 2024.
The Business Office and Cashier’s Office will be closed on Monday, November 11, 2024. Please note there are two bill changers in the building to accommodate change for coins.
Hemodialysis Care will be open on Monday, November 11, 2024.
The Emergency Departments at the Chatham and Wallaceburg sites will remain open 24 hours daily, hospital officials added.
