Due to the Canada Post strike, all inter-library loan requests will be paused, Chatham-Kent Public Library officials say.
“Return dates for current inter-library items checked out to patrons will not be changed,” library officials say.
“Please continue to submit purchase suggestions with staff and through the online form as all requests will be saved and processed once the strike is over.”
Some 55,000 postal workers represented by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) went on a nationwide strike on Friday, November 15 at 12:01 a.m.
