OPP officials allege: The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Chatham Detachment, has issued a three-day driver’s licence suspension after a roadside investigation.
On November 17, 2024, at approximately 3:45 a.m., a member of the OPP initiated a traffic stop on a passenger vehicle for a Highway Traffic Act (HTA) violation on Communication Road near Fairview Line, Municipality of Chatham-Kent.
As a result of the investigation, a 32-year-old of Ridgetown resident was issued a three-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and charged with:
– Speeding 1-49 Km/h over posted limit
– Novice Driver – B.A.C. above zero
The OPP remind motorists that no amount of alcohol or drug is acceptable to consume and drive.
