With sadness we announce the sudden passing of Colleen Orton, on Sunday December 8, 2024 at the age of 69 years. She was born in Wallaceburg and was a daughter of the late Tom and Betty (Thomas) Orton.
Colleen is survived by her best friend and companion Deb, her son Bill (Erin) Trepanier and their children Ethan, Liam, Presley, her daughter Christine (Ray) Heiman and their children Rebecca and Andrew, and her brothers Kevin and Colin.
Predeceased by her brothers Robin, Tom, Ian and a sister Bonnie.
She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Colleen was a school bus driver for many years she loved gardening and her dog and her late cats.
The late Colleen Orton rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.
Following her wishes, cremation has taken place.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 20th from 1-3pm at the funeral home.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the charity of your choice may be left at the funeral home.
