Wallaceburg & District Museum looking for volunteers to help dust and clean

The Wallaceburg & District Museum is looking for volunteers to help clean inside their location at 505 King Street.

“As many of you might already know, this year Wallaceburg is celebrating 150 years and so we are looking at a busy and exciting time over the next 12 months,” said Myrna Jewell, business administrator at the Museum.

“Therefore, we are seeking volunteers who would be interested in helping us to dust and clean the display areas in the museum. Kaelyn (Gregory, the Museum’s curator) will provide training on proper handling of artifacts and we will be there so don’t feel daunted , you won’t be expected to do anything out of your comfort zone.”

Jewell added: “Please let me know if you would like to help. It would just be a couple of hours a week at your convenience. Thank you for your consideration.”

Jewell can be reached by email at wbmus_busadmin@kent.net or people can call the Museum at 519-627-8962.
