Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Saturday, February 15, 2025, the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a single motor vehicle collision involving a snowmobile near the intersection of Mallard line and Jacob Road, in Dover Township, within the Municipality of Chatham-Kent.
The driver and lone occupant, a 40-year-old male from Dover Centre, was pronounced deceased on scene. Due to the nature of the injuries, the Traffic Management Unit was called to continue the investigation.
The Chatham-Kent Police would like to extend condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
