Stunt driving charges laid in St. Clair Township

OPP officials allege: An individual has been charged with stunt driving in St. Clair Township.

On February 26, 2025, shorty after 7:45 a.m., members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a vehicle travelling at high speeds on Shiloh Line.

The officer located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop on Moore Line after the vehicle was observed travelling in excess of 135 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.

As a result, an 18-year-old of Watford has charged under the Highway Traffic Act with the following offence:

– Drive Motor Vehicle – Perform Stunt – Excessive Speed

The driver was further issued a 30-day driver’s licence suspension, and the vehicle was impounded for a period of 14 days.
