Dresden man turns himself in to the Wallaceburg police station, faces assault charges

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 37-year-old male from Dresden, the accused in a previous assault incident, was involved in a verbal dispute with a 41-year-old woman, also from Dresden.

The argument escalated in to a physical altercation, during which the victim suffered a laceration to the back of her head.

The accused turned himself in at the Chatham-Kent Police Service Wallaceburg Station on March 10, 2025, at approximately 6:33 a.m.

He was arrested based on the outstanding arrest warrant issued for his involvement in the prior incident.

The accused has been charged with assault.

He was released with a future court date of April 8, 2025.
